For me it's a tie between The Impossible and The Wavy for the conceptual effort and neatly organizing such fluid shapes - but I also have a soft spot for xmas themes (I wear socks with xmas trees and my sweater with pixelated Santas all year long.

I don't know if you are serious or not but if a website really needs 1TB of Ram then it's not related to backgrounds or CSS. You have to check all those JS code you are loading or the cluttered HTML you are using.
I also don't recommend using Images for backgrounds you can easily create with CSS because it's another resource you need to load from your server in addition to the CSS file. Let's not forget if you have a dark/light mode and you have to load 2 images for your background.
