1. S3 is object based, allows you to upload files.
2. Files could be 0bytes to 5TB
3. Unlimited storage
4. Files are stored in buckets — not folders
5. S3 is a universal namespace — names should be unique. It’s like a one big C drive
6. Not suitable to install an operating system
7. Successful uploads will return a HTTP 200 status code
