I'm Going Totally To-The-Point
I'm a Google Code-in Finalist of this year and I'm supposed to get a T-shirt and a Hoodie
My Chest is : 45 Inch
Sleeve Length : 22 Inch
Body Length : 31 Inch
And Here's The Size Chart they provided:
T-shirt size is fine for me , XL would be perfect but There's No Size Group For Hoodies Which Matches My Requirements!! π£π£
What Should I Do?
In the email which instructed me about steps to get the prizes , there was a mention to contact GoogleOpenSource[at]shumsky.com for anything related t-shirt/hoodie.
I emailed at it explaining my problem but surprisingly their staff thinks that XL of Hoodie will fit me π I mean, you can look into the chart yourself , XL is nowhere near my requirements!
I tried explaining and suddenly got a unexpected Out Of Office Email π―
Yesterday Evening (January 7 Evening , Indian Standard Time) , She (I hope she's she) replied :
Hi!
I spoke with the factory today and they confirmed that the garments run true to size so please order the size you would normally wear!
Thanks,
[Her First Name]
I don't really understand what she meant, if there're no size group that matches my requirements , how I'm supposed to order the size I would normally wear??π
I also emailed at gci-support[at]google.com explaining my problem but nah... No reply!π£
Now , I Don't Understand What Should I Do? Please Give Me Some Suggestions?

What they mean is probably that the hoodies match other default hoodie sizes; So if you normally wear an xl, you should choose an xl. The size chart is indeed very weird. I mean, a 4xl hoodie chest size still smaller than an xs tshirt?
I'm not sure what size should I wear , I don't know if there's any difference between Indian and American Standard Sizes..
Update: Last night i got a reply from GoogleOpenSource@shumsky.com , they told me to select XL for both T-shirt and Hoodie.
I hate size charts for this reason.
I'm no help, but congrats on being a finalist!
I'm 99% sure that the hoodie size chart is based on the width of the garment laid flat, measured side to side, instead of a circumference.
Seems like that!
Update : I got reply from gci-support[at]google.com and they said , they have contacted Shumsky and trying to figure out the issue , will update me soon
