Who do you use for mailing lists and email campaigns?

Which MailChimp alternative do you use to manage your mailing lists and automated email marketing campaigns?

EmailCenter/Maxemail is a service I've used in the past, but isn't as user friendly as mailchimp (at least back then it wasn't).

Or Newsweaver is another we're using for a client.

Is there something specific you don't like about Mailchimp?

Thanks! No, there's nothing particular about MailChimp I don't like. I just don't see very many serious people in the industry using it, so I'm curious what the alternatives are.

Most serious people in the industry will either use an email marketing company, or bespoke software. I used to work for an email marketing company in the UK and they had some bespoke software they used - it was super antiquated though... one section could only be opened in IE!

I don't think there's anything inherently bad in using Mailchimp though. :) You can use it and still be taken seriously.

We've been using SendGrid for a while now and it's working well and have some reporting. It also allows for transactional mail.

I did not know about tinyletter. It looks like a great service for lists with fewer than 5,000 people and where automated campaigns aren't needed. Thanks for sharing!
