While some may consider New Year's resolutions to be a bit frivolous, I think they can be a good way to reflect on your priorities. This year I se...

I want to deepen some new professional skills. Not 100% sure what those are, but I have a few things in mind I want to get better at.

I also really want to make better use of my time away from work — less mindless phone time.

For that second goal, if you have an iPhone, Settings > Screen Time will let you set daily time limits for specific apps and sites. I was having the same problem where I would spend hours each day mindlessly scrolling Reddit/Imgur and come away feeling anxious/frustrated/unfulfilled.

You are totally right about the relation between a list of things to do and procrastination. I'v noticed that I'm scrolling twitter or watching youtube if I eihther don't know what to do next or how to do that next thing

I've been more consistent with prioritizing my blogging lately, so one of my main goals is to keep up with that consistency.

I've also spent a lot more time writing music this past year, so I'd like to finish some of my current music projects and post them on YouTube.

In the past I've attempted to learn Unity and develop some games, but never spent enough time with it to make real progress. This year, I'm going to make a more structured plan and try to achieve some small milestones each month.
