I enjoy writing small Digital clock applications using several different tool creation languages; I've created digital clocks in Python, TCL/Tk, Perl, yad, and bash scripts. A friend of mine wrote two other variations in a couple of small programs written in the C programming languages.
Do any of you here ever write small, simple tools, such as Digital Clocks, small weather report scripts, etc? It just happens to be a small hobby that this retired software engineer enjoys to exercise the mind and do something useful, quick, and simple.
