I believe as web development continues to evolve, it's in an organization or an individual developers interested to keep up.
There seems to be a trend where many developers tend to settle with the skills they have rather than evolving because they're comfortable with what the tooling they work with and are pretty hard to convince to implement a solution or build a product a certain way.
Is your team currently going through that phase ? If so, how do you deal with it?

From a business perspective it's an expensive choice to stay up-to-date with the latest tools, frameworks and languages. You also have to consider the stability of the new tech you're willing to use. Although, it really depends on the type of company where you're working
I understand the business perspective argument but the thing is, most of these tools are stable, open-sourced and provide great documentation for developers. Again, it really depends on the company and individual devs to make the choice but it will be beneficial to the career of devs.
