Well honestly, I was at a point where I took a semester off and then after that semester I came to the realization that medicine wasn't for me. It wasn't for me because I felt very stagnant repeating the same tasks and learning stuff from books to prepare me for a career where I would be required to dedicate my life to a certain scope of work and ethics. Don't get me wrong i loved it when it lasted but medicine should only be for people who are as passionate about it as I have now realized in software development. Oh, and my motive was heavily influenced by people such as Mark Zuckerberg and Richard Hendricks who I found some resemblance of myself in.

Well, that's a great thing to understand. Not everyone does it so quickly, so I'm glad you found your path!

Ah ah I don't know if those are really good role models though :P (you mean Hendricks from the show Silicon Valley?).
And yeah Hendricks from Silicon Valley. haha. They might not be good role models but they give enough motivation for people to get into what they want to believe in.
I started as a fullstack Ruby and JavaScript developer but honestly I was using Rails and I’d be able to get my backend structure moving quickly and I’d spend much time on the Front-End making things nice. This made me started learning and diving into JavaScript and CSS more because every project I worked on had a different use case for FrontEnd architecture. After diving deep into JavaScript and it’s friends I realized I liked how the design meets functionality of the Front-End. Most importantly I’ve had more job offers for Front-End roles, which I think has kept me in Front-End

Well, with a rectal exam at least you get to wear gloves
Why did you drop out out of med school to become a software developer? :)

Why move into front-end in particular?
