Hardstyle! Hardstyle all day everyday :)
Artists like: Da Tweekaz, Sound Rush, Coone, Hard Driver. Some great energetic tracks!
Here's a playlist that I created...titled INSTRUMENTAL Post-Rock Music to Work & Focus to.
Video game OST and anime songs.
Example
I like listening to relatively heavy and rhythmically complex music. It creates sort of a wall between me and all the things and thoughts that can distract me from writing code. Usually it is math metal, metalcore or, for example, AI-generated djent: youtu.be/CqvmUnG25dA
I almost always listen to music while coding and I also tend to like instrumental stuff. Lately I've been listening to:
State Azure - perfect programming music for me
Progressive Trance music generally, when I need slightly more energy.
Nier Automata OST some days I just listen to it on loop, minus a few slightly annoying tracks :) it hits a lot of the right spots for me in the right order.
Today is a good day to Code what with the bloody rain and the bloody wind.
Extra points for knowing the Movie Quote I subverted there.
So it's Soft Guitar music off of Amazon Music.
Got a new kitten and he likes the bass from the subwoofer.
The older girls are protesting by staying outside!
The new kitten is objectionable to their sensibilities.
Chill with no lyrics, electro and electro pop. And for INTENSE sessions of dev, I listening electro type festival 🕺
I'm currently going through a SE bootcamp, so I have a relatively short experience to pull from haha. So far I love listening to lofi reggaeton/hip hop beats, but tbh any chill music does the trick! Otherwise, I just start singing along and no work gets done lol.
I'll for sure be checking out those recommendations!
silence is golden
Many developers enjoy listening to music while coding as it can help them to focus and stay motivated. The type of music people listen to can vary depending on personal preferences, but instrumental music, such as classical or electronic music, is often preferred as it is less distracting than music with lyrics. zeeto.pk/daihatsu-boon-price-in-pa...
Lofi girl streaming quietly in the background most of the day
this! And I love the new lofi boy stream they set up (its more synthwave than lofi)
An interesting thought:
I understand Music stimulates the brain and helps the brain develop mathematics abilities.
From the great god Google search
What Einstein said about music?
Oh man I love these "whacha-doing" threads.
Plug: With Amazon Music it's whatever..
But last night it was Zen Music for Coding.
Yeah they have a category of music of "for Coding."
I guess right this moment it's Bob Dylan and "Everybody must get stoned."
I have always loved that song!
It's okay I'm old enough.
:)
A close second has been quiet piano music for Study and Coding.
How about a little chair dancing music for my break-time?
I actually don't listen to music whiles coding. I haven't tried it though but I do think the music will distract me a tiny bit from the problem I'm trying to solve😂
Power, Symphonic and Heavy metal. Like Avantasia, Angra, Rammstein, Elvenking, etc. Sometimes i listen to video games soundtracks, like life is strange 1, 2 and 3, Hellblade or Stardew Valley
Depends on how close the deadline is -- if I'm scrambling, angry, high-beat music. If I'm in the flow and have time, slower, calmer stuff. Almost always instrumental/no lyrics.
Soundcloud -> SlamFM The Boom Room, my absolute favorite.
Hardstyle for most of time or any Synthwave/Retrowave music that recommended by a streaming service
Vampire the masquerade bloodlines ost
Last of us ost
Days gone ost

The witcher wild hunt ost

None! I have an internal monologue going on that music shuts down... its just distracting
Sandstorm by Darude
Binaural beats and lofi coding
with all the voices in my head, I can't add another external source.
I listen white noise actually.
The funniest part is you could be "for real."
Love your reply!
Classical
I have found "Music for Guinea Pigs" on Amazon Music.
I like it to code to..
I wonder what that says about me :)
I Iike to listen to SCI-FI beats & music makes me code better for some reason.
