It is way quicker to use Asana's UI than Jira's UI, especially when dealing with dozens or hundreds of tasks/subtasks. It is simpler to navigate through and all team members are clear on what is being worked on. Jira is a constant dumpster fire of people getting lost in different views, no one ever wanting to use it, and out of date data as a result.
Please, if you are launching a new startup, consider Asana before going straight for Jira.

The Jira timeline view comes close, but it doesn't have as nice visualization of subtasks.
Jira's plan view almost reaches parity with asana.
