We write reusable code all the time, but how many of us keep it neatly organised, so next time when we want to reuse, it is quickly available at our disposal?
We all crawl the web in search of code, but how many times have we painfully repeated steps to land on that same piece of code again?
More often than not we always go hunting for our snippets in the deep code woods, spending an enormous amount of our developer time in reinventing the wheel.
How do we get better at handling this reinvention? The solution to productivity is straightforward.
Keep tracking and Keep it organised
DECS the Decentralised and Encrypted Code Snippets manager is built on the above basics and it is more than just a searchable coding diary. It's super Secure, and it's Free!
Why not check it out and have a go and see if your productivity as a programmer improves using DECS?
Happy coding!

I cant seem to log in, since it seems to want to open an application in my computer. What is that?
Hi @enriquemorenotent ,
We use BlockStack Naming Service (BNS) to preserve user Identity with an underlying blockchain technology. The application that DECS wants to open was the Blockstack app (It allows you to create and manage Blockstack IDs, manage storage of your data, and explore decentralized apps).
However, the Blockstack app installation is not mandatory. If the Blockstack app is not found on your computer, it should redirect you to browser.blockstack.org and take you through the login process. Can you provide me with more details (browser? possibly version?) so that I can look into this.
Hope this helps.
Thank you
Well, it is not redirecting me. I am using the latest chrome, but most likely it is because I am using Ubuntu 18.04
When click on "Sign in" I get this popup, and no matter what I choose, nothing happens

I will have a look at it. Will keep you posted on the updates.
Thank you for giving it a try @enriquemorenotent
Hey @enriquemorenotent ! We released a new version, can you give it a try now.
Also, our chrome extension is also available now - chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/...
Seems to work! I will take a slow look at it. Does it have integration with editors like VS Code?
We are currently working on plugins for VS Code and Sublime... will be launching soon.
