So a lot of my friend complain of their lack of reading habits to their avoiding reading things in screens while staying that buying books is not always on the menu. I, for myself enjoy reading eBooks and paperback alike. What are your thoughts? Does the touch of the prayer and the light contrast of ink matter to you or do you like to state at screens for reading purposes?

Good question...
I can find much more arguments why I should prefer eBooks over paperbacks: smaller, cheaper, carry multiple books, can instantly buy books, searchable, background lighting ...
However, I often get back to reading paperbacks. I think the layout is a main reason: paperbacks are consciously layouted. You also can see more content at once and especially illustrations are much better in paperbacks.
Therefore, I prefer reading books with illustrations as a paperback and all other as eBooks.
I read a lot of manga and comics (Yup). So I do appreciate the layout on paperback cause scrolling through pages doesn't sit well well with such material
Generally speaking, I prefer digital over physical (DVD's, games, books etc) but, for some reason, I cannot stand reading development books on a screen.
If it's not a physical book, I can't and won't read it.
That's exactly the opposite for me. I can't stand to read that stuff in paperback. There is so much on the internet regarding this that finding a book seems to be tedious.
I find myself equally split between both, but gradually shifting more to ebooks.
I definitely prefer the feel of a real book, but the draw of having any book I want instantly on my Kindle is too convenient
