Hello! My Community Teammates and I would like to join the conversation in the comments to express our gratitude to those who shared incredibly valuable insights about the "How to Become a 10x Dev" article. We hear your concerns about the title and the potential harm it may cause by perpetuating ideas that could lead to burnout. Burnout is a significant issue in our industry, and we want to assure you that promoting overwork is not our intention.
We acknowledge that while the article aimed to highlight productivity tips and tools, the title and some content may have inadvertently conveyed a different message. Our goal in selecting this piece was to spark a discussion about efficiency and productivity in a healthy way. We believe in discussing ways to work smarter and optimize workflows, but we also recognize the equal importance of promoting a healthy work-life balance.
The diverse perspectives shared in the comments are instrumental in creating a well-rounded dialogue within our community. We genuinely appreciate your feedback, take your concerns to heart, and are committed to continuously improving our content selection process. Moving forward, we will be thoughtful about providing clearer context on why certain articles are chosen, and our emphasis will continue to be on promoting discussions that encourage a positive and supportive community.
Your feedback is absolutely invaluable to us, and we always welcome discussion on how we can collectively foster a culture that values both productivity and well-being. Thank you so much for being part of the DEV Community! 🙏🌍
Could do without the 10X developer article that is a click bait title and mainly links to extensions. These types of articles and the suggestions are usually harmful to junior developers.
I also object to the inclusion of 10x developer post. It’s not OK to continue spreading ideas that actively promote burnout, even if the post was more about ide plugins.
Congratulations to them 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Super proud of you guys.
Thank you so much👏
Woot! Good job all!
