What do front-end developers think of no-code DataViz tools?

If you're tasked with connecting to a product database and presenting data in charts, embedded for users.

Is something like Tableau, Looker, Mode, etc. just too complex to work with? Or would they not even be considered?

How would you approach this, say if you had a medical records platform and you needed to create dashboards that stated how many records have been created, the demographics of the patients, the region those patients were seen, and statistics on a subset of the answers to 30 of the questions in the medical forms they were asked questions about?

Build from scratch or use some third-party platform?

I'm asking about Tableau, Looker, Mode, because they seem to be focused more on the Business User, rather than the developer/engineer audience.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this? 🤔
