I have always found Aaron Patterson to be hilarious even when bordering on longwinded. I think his opening keynote for RailsConf 2020.2 Couch Edition was a splendid example of his humor and his technical skill. It's mind boggling, and truly inspiring, to see how Aaron takes a simple "life hack" and turns it into a refactoring of Rails. Also, I'm happy to see that I'm not the only one who procrastinates by finding random projects to needlessly work on.
If you haven't had a chance to watch it yet, whether your a Rails dev or not, I highly recommend it!
