A hackathon, also known as a codefest, is a social coding event that brings computer programmers and other interested people together to improve upon or build a new software program. It is an event where people engage in rapid and collaborative engineering over a relatively short period of time such as 24 or 48 hours.
Nowadays, companies are organizing virtual hackathons to find and hire talented people. These online events are like stages where candidates show how good they are at solving tough problems using their coding skills. It’s a new way that companies are using to pick the right people for their teams.
Presented here is a compilation of hackathons utilised by the company as a means to onboard potential candidates.
Note : These tailored hackathons are exclusively designed for recruitment in India and remain in operation as of the year 2023.
