Professional : Had a couple of meetings. Got to speak with my manager and kind of plan what I'll be working on this week. Then I went head down into working on this project. I noticed that there was a race condition happening where some events would fire before the thing I'm building would be ready to listen for them. Think I finally got it fixed today. Now I just need to do a couple of smaller things, refactor the code and publish a first version to hopefully get others to test it out.
Personal : Got a bunch of stuff done last night. I ironed some clothes for my upcoming trip. Ordered some last minute stuff to take with me. Started packing. Went through some tracks for the radio show and picked up projects on Bandcamp. As for my side project, since I couldn't get the tokens to work properly, I just set up a serverless function on another service to generate the tokens and send it back to my side project. The tokens are now working. Still have no clue what happened, but it's working. Then I added speech recognition to my application and even added the ability to translate what I am saying. Pretty good night.
The plan for tonight is to finally book the hotels for my vacation in Japan. I think I have a rough idea of where and when I want to be. Going to finish ironing and get as much packing done as possible without the stuff I'm still using. Hopefully I'm not forgetting anything. Maybe put together the playlists for the radio show, copy over some audio files so I can have them to work on for the radio show while I'm away, and get the social media posts together for this week's Bandcamp purchases (even though some of this I could probably do that while waiting in an airport or in the air). For my side project, I want to get what I'm saying and the translation sent to the view section and add the ability to control some slides. But first, dinner. Wish me luck!
