I found a great modern piano artist this week. Their songs don't have vocals for the most part, and the tracks are really chill. Makes for great music to work to, or else just to relax and think of imaginary stories in your head :)
I love discovering and new music, so I'm looking forward to hearing what y'all are listening to :)
I personally prefer silence
... or ...
white noise or ...
(if I'm in a really musical listening mood) trance music so that it creates a great background sound but one I won't focus on (foreground).
Other possible sounds are Eckhart Tolle audios but I don't do that often when coding/working.
I find that 99% of the time when I encounter a problem to solve, I prefer silence. That being said, I would love to hear what others prefer to get some different perspectives.
These 2 albums by this artist are pretty amazing: youtube.com/watch?v=hwCLmWqt_Vc and this one: youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_... - really good for programming and mind stimulation :)
This week's been sort of post-industrial or somethingwaveish: Filmmaker, Молчат Дома, and Cisfinitum.
R.E.M., U2, and the like. some people think its weird but i love it!
Oasis Pulp Radiohead, I'm feeling nostalgic this days.
The BookSmart soundtrack/score!
