Preparations to Gamedev.js Jam 2025 started with good progress, we’ve shipped js13kGames 2024 t-shirts with all the gadgets, and I had my GitHub Star status renewed for another year, so it was a good month.

Those are usually short news pieces, but it’s great to be able to share how much cool web gamedev stuff the community is releasing, and many of those end up in the Gamedev.js Weekly newsletter issues anyway.

OP Guild

The very first Gamedev.js Jam 2025 announcement was the partnership with OP Guild , which became the Platinum partner - expect the details about a dedicated challenge soon.

I was also researching AI agents , as OP Games is preparing to release a cool project in the coming days that can benefit OP Guild folks.

Events

Preparations to Gamedev.js Jam 2025 - talking with partners, asking for prizes, discussing potential challenges. Lots of announcements already scheduled for the beginning of this month.
