The Sad Reality of CS Lectures😔

In agreement to This essay

An incident occurred during a lecture today that might have looked funny to everyone but was actually disheartening and soul crushing.

A student tried to correct the lecturer, but she was all like, 'I'm the one making the test, so I'll decide what's right" even if most of what she taught was seriously wrong

The lecture had to deal with database design

CS students. Remember, learning outside the classroom is key, even if you're just chasing that bag. Also, studying just to pass exams is kind of short-sighted. Focus on learning something valuable, not just getting good grades.

Lecturers should understand that constant innovation is what makes computer science what it is, not the exams and tests, even though the latter are very important and they should make sure they understand the material themselves before teaching it to us.

To the lecturers: Please encourage innovation, don't stifle it.
