Announcing Rustcrab: The Repository for Rust Developers That Isn't Crap
You might think I'm diving deep into Rust with what I've done so...

I think the word "repository" is misleading in this announcement because its most common meaning is package repository or version control repository and this new service seems to be more like a web site for the community.
I had to read the announcement a couple of times to figure out that this wasn't a competitor to cargo.
Thank you Mikko. I called it repo because it will be very focused on what's going on on Github. How can it be interpreted as a competitor to cargo, if Cargo is a package manager?
Ever head of
apt
which is used to access package manager on Linux? Theapt
downloads and install packages from software repositories. That's why using the word "repository" is problematic here. It's easy to mix with Cargo."APT relies on the concept of repositories in order to find software and resolve dependencies." – en.wikipedia.org/wiki/APT_(software)
Update: I change it a bit, also thanks to your feedback. Thank you
Good luck
Thank you Ben. This is just a soft launch, the real work will come in the upcoming days and weeks
Howdy!
I'm curious why you decided on a seperate Vercel based application, rather than using a system like GitHub Pages considering the likely content of the site/repository?
How can I help? I just got into Rust and wanna partake in your project maybe develop it further?
things you can do:
