We've just launched a new update for our low-code platform, Spiro. Version 2.17 brings several key enhancements, including an improved and user-friendly manual, a fully adaptive system layout, built-in Apple ID integration, and a new sales conditions setup process. Keep reading to discover all the new features of Spiro.
User manual
The user manual in release 2.17 presents a clean, bright, and user-friendly interface that aligns with the updated Spiro design. It’s now even more convenient to use, thanks to its enhanced informativeness and organization.
To improve usability, the manual is divided into logical sections: Documents and Files, Communication, Users, Content, Objects, Interactions, Operators, Constructor, and more. The focus is on addressing practical issues rather than providing theoretical explanations.
We've created separate sections describing specific cases and tasks that users of the system might face. To enhance clarity, we've included numerous screenshots throughout the manual to illustrate and clarify the text, making the information even more accessible. Additionally, you can utilize the Spiro documentation as your primary knowledge base for your project, incorporating details about your company's internal business processes if necessary.
Adaptive layout
In version 2.17, we’ve made significant enhancements to the system’s adaptive design, ensuring that Spiro's features are accessible across all device types. The interface now adjusts seamlessly to various screen sizes, allowing for easy access to all functionalities without having to use only the desktop.
This task was a complex one because we had to display large amounts of information on the screen and implement forms for interacting with it. Additionally, we had to accommodate the varying sets of information across different Spiro-based projects.
The new adaptive design allows users to access Spiro from any device, anytime, providing maximum flexibility and mobility. This feature is particularly beneficial for those who often work remotely or prefer mobile devices.
Sign in / Sign out via Apple ID
With Spiro 2.17, we’ve added a built-in Apple ID authentication option. Now, you can easily set up Apple ID as an SSO option for your iOS mobile apps and websites. This new feature streamlines the login process for Apple users, offering quick and secure access to your applications.
New sales conditions setup process
We’ve significantly enhanced the process for editing product sales conditions. These conditions are the parameters within the system that define how products interact with various rules, such as pricing or discounts, which may vary based on quantity, user class, batch, or other factors. Given the potentially large number of parameters, a user-friendly interface is crucial.
With the updated functionality, you can now quickly copy, edit, and save sales conditions without having to switch between different pages in Spiro. This improvement streamlines the management of sales conditions, reduces the number of steps involved, and saves time on configuring and adjusting parameters.
