How often do you use tools from GitHub Marketplace?

I've built my own tool and last week my app was published on GitHub marketplace as unverified. I am now working towards verified version. But I have no increase in number of users since then. Any suggestions how drive traffic and what are criteria by which GitHub sorts the app in each category on the Marketplace. Or anyone has recently listed their app on GitHub marketplace?
