Frameworks are intimidating and overwhelming when you’re learning

So I gotta ask the dev community a question. But before I do, let me just give my question some backstory.

I’m not new to coding html and css. I’ve been doing it for myself in a hobby-like manner for years. And when I say years, I mean I wrote the html for my Geocities site in notepad. (Dang I don’t feel that old… but I digress).

I’m returning to html and css with a vengeance. Learning, coding, experimenting, reading, more experimenting, breaking things and fixing them again. It’s all fun and games and then I read about Bootstrap, and Vue, and React, and SCSS …

… and it’s soooo intimidating. Especially when the impression I’m getting is that these tools make web page development faster.

So here’s my question …

Why use those tools? Can you not write code without them and be just as efficient and proficient?

Totally agreed. but you should try these tools. They are awesome. When you learned them well(learn practically), they become very easy and silly.
