After nearly two and a half years away from anything to with web development im getting back into it.
I stopped because I burnt myself out big time, i was teaching trying to study every night, maybe one evening off a week and things was going well. I was confident with HTML, bootstrap and CSS, the basics of javascript was ok i guess but one thing really got to me and that was a FreeCodeCamp lesson called Record Collection
This challenge I could not understand, reading the solution did not help me understand, I tweeted about it and people tried to help me but it was no good, it got me so down that I stopped everything.
So I had a little break but I lost my enthusiasms and it felt like a chore.
Around the same time I started a new job and had a mental breakdown not long after, the company was very kind and kept me on and now im a valued member of the team.
But now I think im ready to start again but were to I start from,im rusty with HTML and CSS but starting at the beginning is boring, do i learn python or do Harvard Uni SC50 course.
I do have something I do want to make and that is a D50 partical size calculator, at work we do it all on paper from writing down the weights to plotting it on a graph.
I could all be done on a computer, I could make it as a web app or a python program.
I think this is enough now to work on, I will update with another post in a week.
