Hi Mates,
I am planning to move blog to Dev.to platform and solely write here as I plan to work on my newsletter and Dev.to is less hassle even for a non-techie.
Though I write mostly tech content but I sometimes plan to write about off topics like analyzing user feedback to create better products (focused on solo developers and product owners who do are on Dev.to) also sometimes I might write review products/service I use like email marketing tool or services for developers to monetize their content like BuyMeACoffee. Sometimes there might be one or two affiliate like which I will give brief disclosure of, are these allowed? I want to know thins be I don't want unintentionally abuse this platform.
If you all could acknowledge me then it would be very greatful.

Hey Ankit,
Awesome to hear that you're planning on posting to DEV regularly. And thanks for asking this question!
You do indeed need to disclose any affiliate links that you include in your articles. As the Terms of Use state:
If a post contains affiliate links, that fact must be clearly disclosed. For instance, with language such as: “This post includes affiliate links; I may receive compensation if you purchase products or services from the different links provided in this article.”
Hope this info helps!
Yeah I truly believe in affiliate disclosure but is it allowed to post reviews like say Mailchimp review or something similar?
I'm sorry, but I don't think I understand your question...
You can post reviews, but if you use affiliate links then you must disclose them.
OK, thanks got my answer.
Good stuff! :-)
