Hekademeia Research Solutions was founded in August 2020 with the goal of providing sustainable hosting and software services to academic researchers. After years building software solutions for research, it became apparent that a majority of projects lack the necessary resources for long-term stability. When traditional funding awards lapse, researchers are left to find their own solutions to keep years of work online. Unfortunately, many of these projects disappear, harming the research team, the scientific community, and the general public.
