What is IoT Builders?
IoT Builders is a live stream hosted by four AWS IoT Developer Advocates - 👩💻👨💻👨💻👨💻 (Alina, Dan, Nenad, and Syed), aiming to foster engaging conversations with community builders, who tune in weekly to share their experiences building IoT products.
When?
Weekly, on Wednesdays, at 5pm CET/ 8am PT.
How does it work?
We invite a new speaker weekly, and we keep the same set or sub-set of hosts. We go into interesting details, ranging from Embedded to Cloud, discuss IoT challenges, walk through educational material etc.

Episode #4 : Live on October 12th, we had a special session with Head of Developer Relations @mender_io, Josef Holzmayr, who joined us to discuss Embedded Systems, the Yocto Project, as well as importance of OTA.

Episode #5 : Live on October 19th, we had a great session with Marc H. Cyr represented the IoT+ Network, and his 15+ years of IoT with #corporate, #startups, #smallbusiness and #incubators, and the knowledge he acquired building platforms, products and completing projects spanning multiple verticals including: #energy, #utilities, #medical, #iiot, #building, #pharma, #railindustry, #retail, #smartcity, smartstadium, and even consumer iot #smarthome.
We have discussed at least some of the following topics:
- #business / #technology divide.
- Your "competitor" is the best partner you don't have yet.
- Customer's don't care about #iot --> even the best IoT #innovation is invisible.
- #data is a liability, not an asset.
