Every success story begins with a spark—a moment when curiosity, ambition, or even sheer necessity drives one to take a leap of faith. My journey from zero to becoming the DevRel Lead at Quira is a testament to perseverance, learning, and a deep-seated passion for technology and community. Let me share my story, one step at a time.
The Starting Point: A Blank Slate
When I first set foot in the tech world, my knowledge base was modest at best. I wasn’t armed with a computer science degree from a prestigious institution or years of coding experience. What I did have was an eagerness to learn and an unwavering commitment to growth. The path wasn’t straightforward—I explored, stumbled, and restarted more times than I can count.
Building the Foundation: Learning the Craft
Every day became a step forward. I immersed myself in learning—not just the technical skills like programming, debugging, and working with APIs, but also the soft skills that would later become my superpower in the DevRel world.
In the beginning, my resources were free tutorials, forums, and the wisdom of strangers on Stack Overflow. The challenges felt daunting, but each solution brought a sense of achievement. I learned to view problems as opportunities to grow. Slowly but surely, I started building small projects that boosted my confidence and showcased my skills.
Discovering My Passion for Community
While the technical side was fulfilling, I found my true calling in helping others. Whether it was explaining concepts to peers, contributing to open-source projects, or hosting informal meetups, I realized the power of community in tech.
The journey wasn’t just about solving problems for myself—it was about empowering others to solve theirs. This marked my foray into the world of Developer Relations
The Big Break: Joining Quira
Quira entered my life at a time when I was ready to take on larger challenges. The company’s mission to connect developers through tools and platforms that simplify collaboration resonated deeply with me. Initially, I joined in a more modest capacity, working on various projects and supporting the developer community in any way I could.
Climbing the Ranks: Leading with Impact
As I grew within Quira, I took on more responsibilities. I championed developer advocacy programs, built bridges between our product and the community, and led workshops that not only showcased Quira’s products but also empowered developers to build better, faster, and smarter.
What set me apart was my commitment to making every interaction meaningful—whether it was a tweet, a forum post, or a conference presentation. I wasn’t just representing Quira; I was representing the developer community, ensuring their voices were heard.
The Present: DevRel Lead
Today, as the DevRel Lead at Quira, I have the privilege to build gap between the developers and the product.

Looking Ahead
The journey doesn’t end here. I believe in lifelong learning and am excited about the future of DevRel and the impact Quira can have on developers worldwide. My story is proof that anyone can grow from zero to a leader with the right mindset, hard work, and a little help from those around them.
