This week was a lot about organizing our second Hackathon (Wanna join? hackathon.askui.com).
Then I managed to get my second video tutorial out. I am very happy with how it turned out.
Hackathon - Basically a Ton of Work!
The biggest learning I got this week is that organizing a hackathon is a ton of work. Getting to see the work that goes into seeking and talking to guest speakers. Setting up registration forms and automatic emails. Doing visuals for promotion.
And then we noticed that with our current tools our tracking is not going to work out :-( So we scrambled together a workaround.
My recommendation to measure how much a Hackathon helps our company is to host the website as a subpage of your normal website, where you already have tracking!

And you never stop learning:
- When I type during recording my breathing is noticable in the audio. I have to fine tune my microphone positioning
- Video postproduction is time intensive if you want some nice effects there. In my case two flying and hovering logos.
- A little bit of LoFi music makes a video more interesting
