If you want to close all the tabs open in one window of an application (aka, close a window), use Shift-Command-W
. (In contrast to using Command-W
, which only closes an individual tab open in one window of an application.) Just discovered this, and it’s a life-saver. Previously, I just quit VS Code after finishing each repo to avoid ending up with a cluttered screen.
