Hey, i thought about freelancing and traveling. But i am not sure if working from a public wifi is a good idea. What do you think?
For further actions, you may consider blocking this person and/or reporting abuse

You can use a VPN service if you don't feel like using a public network, that's what I do sometimes
Yeah, i thought VPN would do the job. But while looking for the best VPN services i came across this article schub.io/blog/2019/04/08/very-prec... now i feel a like a VPN only transfairs the risk of the public wifi to the VPN endpoint.
I agree 100% with the article. This part of the conclusion is what should apply in your case:
and he also goes on suggesting the very VPN I'd suggest:
VPN are not infallible but in some cases like public wifi and going around regional restrictions are useful!
Allright, thx for the reply. I do have a proton email already, mby worth checking there VPN service aswell.
You're not wrong. But that's why you use a known quantity good (and paid) VPN. If you use a free one, it's just like the saying with Facebook/Google/whatever:
If the product is free, you're the product.
Yeah, definitely take a paid VPN service. Since they are pretty cheap and giving up customer data would be so much more expensive.
my experience with metros around big cities in europe: london subway network is usually really terrible. my phone company service there is usually worse. paris is better and the trips are suitable to get something done i think. berlin you would be on pretty much all the time. london is the worse but have the best city. amsterdam you will be on all the time too. barcelona as well.
Everyone else is going to say it, so I'll say it too.
If you're doing any kind of "work" on a public WIFI connection, use a VPN.
Full stop.
