What is Data Structure ?

The word data structure is itself giving a feel that it is something related to data which is stored in a structured way.
You might be familiar to some examples such as Array, it is also a data structure. why so? because we keep the data in the form of array.

If you are still confused then imagine the data structure as your college library, where the books are store, one more thing you have seen is the cylindrical containers of rice and wheat in our homes that is also an example data storage system. This cylindrical container is similar to queue data structure.
