Goal
Lets Create an standAlone component, with reactive-forms (https://angular.io/guide/reactive-forms) using Signals. In this example we use Angular Signals to represent form control values as signals. firstNameSignal
is created using the toSignal function. Represents the value of the 'firstName' form control, so now, instead of manually subscribing to the valueChanges of the form control, we can directly use the signal in our template.
Using signals in a reactive form with Angular has several benefits
Efficient Updates
Signals allow you to represent form control values as signals. This means that only relevant components or parts of your application react to changes in form values. Instead of using traditional subscriptions where all changes trigger an update, signals provide a more efficient way to handle updates, especially in large and complex applications.

Selective Rendering
Only the parts of your application that rely on a specific signal will update when its value alters. While not a virtual DOM like React, it does offer focused template updates. This means that when a signal changes, only the components or templates that depend on that particular signal will be re-rendered or updated. This is in contrast to a full re-render of the entire DOM, which can be more resource-intensive. Angular Signals achieves selective rendering by leveraging a reactive approach to data. When a signal is updated, Angular Signals intelligently identifies the parts of the application that are directly affected by that signal and updates only those parts, avoiding unnecessary updates to unrelated components.
