Hi, this year I'm trying to move from my years of working as a sysadmin over to being a web developer. I was told a portfolio/website was a good idea and so I made one.
If you have a moment can you have a look at it, https://link2twenty.github.io/, and let me know what you think and what I should change.
The source is here.
Thank you.

Nice work, I like the
rotate
effect on hover over the links! It's not too distracting but still catches my eye. I agree with @ben that a bit of color would make it pop a little better, even if it was just in the section headings or something? Anyway, overall it's clean and to-the-point and I was able to learn a little about you in a short time. Portfolio success 👍🏼Thank you, hmm, I wonder where to add the colour 😕
Don't stress about it, either! I usually have two modes:
1.1em
instead of1em
will someone be sad?Just wait for the right time haha
I've added a tiny little splash of Orange. I was thinking about adding some colour to the shadows but I'm not a big fan of coloured shadows.
What do you think? 🙂
I like it! Also subtle but adds a little something 💯
It really works well and represents you well.
Looking at it on my phone I feel like it could be cleaned up around the edges a bit.
I feel like some of the flourishes are a bit out of place on mobile and I noticed the spinner on your image a bit offcenter.
To me there could also maybe be a bit more color to give it some added cheer. The grayish green is a good vibe but maybe could have one more complementary color. 🙂
Thank you, Ben, it means a lot that you found the time to look at it!
I presume the flourish you mean is the rotate and scale on the link icons? Do you think it's worth disabling them on smaller screen sizes?
I agree with the colour assessment, I'm not really a designer but saw there was a post about colour theory earlier today so I'll have a little think.
Thank you again
EDIT:
I've added a splash of Orange, what do you think? Is it enough?
Hey!
Maybe it's just me, but I feel like the links should be each div that has the classes "card social".
This way the clickable area will the the whole div (I think that's better :D).
Thank you for taking a look! You're absolutely right, I've fixed that now 🙂
Very nice ! 🙌
the site is clear and the loading is very fast. we do not get lost. in short I love your site. this is what is missing on the internet, well optimized and clear websites.
Thank you 🙂
