I want to start a discussion with you all because I have some curiosity about this question that I want to ask.

It seems strange, but in reality, there are a lot of people who do not give a F about their birthday.

Actually I would never take off on my birthday I just celebrate the weekend before or whatever.
But of course it would be nice to do something cool some time in my birthday and go away somewhere than I could take off.

I don't usually take a full day off, but I do when I'm home with my family. Most of the time, I'm away from my hometown for work, so I don't always get to spend my birthday with them. I love spending time with my family and friends, especially playing with my nieces, who get really excited for my birthday. Sometimes, I miss out on those happy moments.

first congratulations on your birthday, I think birthdays are given special, without the anxiety of self-reflection where I am, where and especially I have arrived if I am on the path of what I want, but generally I always work, but I take the rest of the day for self-reflection and family and friends, I think it's important to celebrate

I think I am one of those people who don't care about their birthday. About to be 23 soon. I believe the last time I celebrated my birthday was back when I was 12. Seems crazy to most people. Nonetheless, I never worked on my birthday because the places I worked at would usually have a birthday leave type of stuff.

Hey Happy Birthday Antonio! Many wishes from me! I know I am crazy and dumb and all but I am not that crazy that I would work on my birthday. So no I would never work on my birthday... mainly because for some lucky reason my birthday is usually on weekends... so yeah.

The kind of F that I give about my birthday, throughout all these years, is that: I must be working on something on that day. True story - thrown back from my early twenties.
For me, it doesn't have to be official employment work. In fact it's rarely "work work" & most likely "me work". But that doesn't matter much - I trust that as "Creative Devs", we simply enjoy creating something for the sake of it. And creating something on the day we were 'created' sounds pretty engaging in one way or another ;)
