What Tools Would You Choose to Create a Subscription Ecommerce Store?

Subscription ecommerce stores are stores that sell products or services on a subscription bases. For example, the customer will receive a box with random products once a month. Another example is subscription to premium services provided by apps.

What tools do you think will help you achieve this type of model for an ecommerce store?

Medusa's headless commerce architecture makes it possible to integrate it with any third-party tool that can help you achieve the use case you have in mind. Alternatively, you are also capable of creating your own custom experience due to its open source nature and the good development experience it provides.

I think I would be tempted to try my hand at creating a custom solution before using a platform like Medusa or Shopify. Just for the challenge ๐Ÿ˜ Using the MERN stack most likely but possibly a SQL backend.

Sounds interesting! Unlike Shopify, though, Medusa would allow you to create a completely custom solutions without the need to re-write everything from scratch. You can take Medusa and modify it as you see fit to your use case. Definitely would save you a lot of time.
