Wrote this post early yesterday right before heading out on a little journey to visit my parents in my hometown. Anywho, it's so nice to come back to so many kind, encouraging comments from folks I know here!
I'm going to use this message to collectively respond to everybody and let ya know that I miss you all very much... but hey, I'm still very much alive and kickin' too, haha. 😄

You were the first one who made me feel that the DEV Community was a different place, with kindness and safety to ask and learn. I'll never forget your weekly posts, especially about music albums. I wish you a good rest time and opportunities to keep changing the world in your own way!

I do feel that you will get something very soon. You're a wonderful Community Manager. There are so many social media companies that can use your services right now.
I feel horrible that you are no longer the community manager here as you truly were a pillar for the community and the moderators and making Dev better every day. I am blessed to have met you and enjoy some fun times and great conversations.
I know you are going to land somewhere amazing and do amazing things in the future. I already feel the loss on Dev and can only hope it survives without you. You are a rockstar and will be missed greatly.
You can tell a lot about a person in how they handle the rocky parts of life: some choose anger, some chose humour and grace. You sir are a class act and I wish you all the best in whatever path is next for you!

Wow Mike, this took me by surprise! Just today I was thinking your weekly post about some musical topic, that was really something I really enjoyed doing and looked forward to doing weekly!
