I dreamed "in code" last night.
Part of my dream involved looking at a Python file in which I was manipulating a MySQL database and exporting out data to a CSV file.
I think I have dreams like the one above a couple of times per week.
Have you dreamed "in code" before lol? What was your dream about?

Mmm, I don't remember but usually when I am working in a project all day and I go to sleep I just keep thinking abou the project or some problem I nerd to fix. Sometimes when I found the solution I get out of the bed just to write the solution. ( I wouldn't want to forget it in the morning)
I did last night as well.
It's not often, but once in a great while I get very OCD about a problem I'm trying to solve (This recent episode from Reply All is a great example).
The latest struggle was trying to calculate the sub solar point. Solved it today, partially.
When I'm working on a particularly tough problem - sometimes, for a full day or more - I will eventually crawl up to bed at some early-morning hour and finally crash for some sleep. Usually, I just get some good rest and attack the problem anew in the morning. But occasionally, I wake up in the middle of the night and run back downstairs (where my computer is). I'm running back downstairs because, while I was sleeping... I solved it.
Only When I'm serious about projects. 😅
That's how you know you're committed to the project 😂.
That day, I worked on the problem that I couldn't solve at office. It was JS. And continue at home, I open my notebook, pull from repo, and start working. I open stack overflow read same page that I read at office multiple times, still no progress. 10 PM, I lay my body on the bed, I close my eyes, empty my brain and the solution about the problem just popping up in my brain. I woke up and continue my work, finished at 11 PM.
I don't know if that's called a dream but, whenever I do, mostly, it's usually that I'm half awake half asleep. Sometimes it doesn't stops. Can't get my brain to rest.
So... it was a nightmare.
