This year was a very productive month for me especially when it comes to contributing to open source projects. The best thing about Open Source is actually being a part of an amazing like minded community. Thanks to Hacktoberfest, I was able to be a part of multiple such communities. I also contributed as a reviewer to various projects.
We did face some inconveniences due to the spammy Pull Requests but the hacktoberfest team were quick enough to implement better and more robust rules to counter the same, which was very impressive. In my opinion these rules were very smart. The team also did a great job hunting repositories that did not satisfy hacktoberfest's code of conduct.
