I'll soon be interviewing a potential new hire for the company I work at.
The candidate has experience in AngularJS.
I really don't.
I know the very basics from a tutorial I did years ago, but I'm mostly at home in Vanilla- & React-land.
My plan is, apart from talking about JS/HTML/CSS fundamentals, to just ask "I never heard about Angular, please tell me how it works.".
I don't mean "how do I use it" or "how is it coded", but "explain to me the core ideas of Angular and when and when not to use it in a project".
Usually, interviewees do a couple of shorter coding-exercises, but I'd like to do this one by talking, only (and maybe drawing on the board).
Do you have experience as interview-er or -ee when it comes to AngularJS? Would you as Ng-Dev be comfortable talking about it in that way?

I like the first part of this sentence that sets the context. I think it gives the answered some solid ground to stand on.
