Our story
Euphoria is a powerful but easy-to-learn interpreted programming language. It has a simple syntax and structure with consistent rules, and is also easy to read. Euphoria started in 1993 as a commercial product developed by Robert Craig of Rapid Deployment Software. With the release of version 3.0 in October 2006, Euphoria became an open source project and is now maintained by a group of volunteers with the help of many users worldwide.
Our stack
Euphoria is written mostly in itself, which is automatically translated to C and linked to a hand-coded C backend. Everything is built with GCC and GNU Make. Euphoria runs on most platforms including Windows, Linux, Mac OS, and BSD.
