One of the great things about the Oracle Cloud Infrasture (OCI) Free Tier as opposed to other 'always free' cloud services is that you can have 2 Compute Virtual Machine Instances (VMs)

The first thing to do after creating your VMs will probably be to SSH in and run yum update
and then install lsb
and maybe nmap
$ ssh opc@MYPUBLICIP
$ sudo -i
# yum update
# yum install redhat-lsb
# yum install nmap
# lsb_release -a
