As an experienced developer, I always want to sharpen my saw and thus I try to keep up with blogs, articles and books.
I planned on reading the new version of The Pragmatic Programmer but then came across Martin Fowler's book Refactoring, Improving the Design of Existing Code
And now I am in doubt. I can only read one book at a time, so which one should I pick? Pragmatic Programmer is interesting, but as a developer with 26 years of experience (or 35 if you count my child years as well) I might profit more from the Refactoring book.
What would you suggest?

I think if you already have 26(35) years of experience then learning refractoring is not new to you neither interesting(maybe interesting). So go for pragmatic programmer.
By the way it's my opinion based on your personality not your skills or the books. I haven't read any of them.
