14 months ago I had a falling out with my VC guy. We went different ways. My VC guy got to keep my previous company entirely, and I got to keep my IP and he released me from all non-competes and existing agreements we had.

Yesterday people started whispering that AINIRO might be worth one billion dollars, so I've therefore proven that I was in fact right all along, and that I could single handedly create a unicorn.

Mission accomplished!

Of course, we will never get to prove our evaluation, because I have zero interest in becoming VC funded, and I have no plans to do an IPO - However, everybody with any knowledge about today's investment market, combined with knowledge about our technology, have already started whispering that the company might in fact be a unicorn - Implying I could probably get 200 million dollars for 20% of the company at this point in time - Which I've got zero interest in may I add.

In retrospect it's actually kind of sad, because had I continued working for my previous company, our financial projections back then was that we'd be worth a billion dollars at the end of 2023 due to our growth rate and revenue stream 14 months ago. Today my previous company is worth roughly 10 cents, and AINIRO is worth 1 billion US dollars. The irony ...

Paper money

I'm still driving a 20 year old car, and if I tip a waiter it's 10% max. I don't own a mansion, and I don't have 10 zeros in my bank account. There's a huge difference between "paper money" and real money, implying I am not rich-rich, at least not yet.

In fact, if you've got a job as a senior software developer in the US, you've probably got more salary than me - However, I'm building my own house, and I'm not building another man's house - There's a huge difference ...

I have a profitable AI company, delivering products and services that others have difficulties believing is even possible to create. Others are willing to pay me to gain access to our products and services, so we've definitely found our market fit. Revenue is also increasing every single week, albeit Google is trying their best to shadow ban us everywhere they can.

So I've accomplished what I set out to prove, which was that I could build a billion dollar company, alone! And that I was right, and my billionaire VC schmuck was wrong.

For the record, I could possibly have achieved a one billion dollar evaluation earlier if I had been willing to cut some corners, and accept money from others, but that would be no fun. Besides, I didn't do it for the money, I did it simply to prove him wrong. In addition I will take 100% of AINIRO's shares with me into my grave, for the simple reasons of teaching the world a lesson. I've already told my wife what I want my tombstone to say, and it is as follows ...

He was right all along!

Anyways, today is a day for celebration. I built a Unicorn, and I did it alone! Now I can finally start building a company, with employees and the whole shebang. Tomorrow I might be hiring a VP of Strategic Business Development for North America, our by far largest market ๐Ÿ˜Š

To my VC dude I've got only 4 words left ...

You lose, I win!
