both BabylonJS and ThreeJS worked together on WebGPU as a team. I used threeJS for gamedev but didnt like it much. With BabylonJS the physics is streamlined via a wrapper class which makes it easy to swap Plugins. I recently shifted to BabylonJS and started using Havok and Let me tell you the performance is way better than Unity or Godot specially for mobile phones.
