I'm passionate about equity, inclusion, and diversity in tech so I compiled a list of some of my favorite women in tech to follow on DEV. I hope others find it useful!
I used to teach third grade in Oakland, CA. About a year ago, I made a career change and now I'm in tech. One of my goals is to share my story in hopes that it will help and/or inspire others. Another goal of mine is to continue my passion for equity and access in tech education and diversifying the tech space by writing here on DEV, connecting with other like-minded people, and starting a new blog dedicated to these topics.
With that being said, here are some of my favorite women in tech / diversity in tech / tech education advocates that I find inspiring here on DEV! Feel free to add your favorites or anyone I've missed in the comments!

It's particularly nice to see that the community is growing. When these posts first appeared they only drew from a very small pool of recommendations. It's nice to see you've found a bunch of people I haven't heard of!
That's great to hear! Thanks for reading!
