What does a Senior Developer Advocate do at Prisma?
Here are some of the most typical responsibilities of a Senior Developer Advocate at Prisma:
1- Creating technical content across mediums: Write blogs, technical documentation, and tutorials, and produce engaging videos to explain and demonstrate Prisma’s core use cases.
2- Managing social media presence: Drive Prisma’s social media channels, creating engaging posts, responding to inquiries, and increasing our visibility in the developer ecosystem.
3- Coding demo projects and production-ready app templates: Build, share, document, and maintain Prisma apps to help users understand how to use Prisma effectively.
4- Building and growing community relationships: Engage with Prisma’s developer community through direct interactions and ongoing support on platforms like Discord and GitHub.
5- Speaking at events and livestreams: Represent Prisma at conferences, webinars, and livestreams, delivering talks and tutorials.
6- Helping users: Support developers with their Prisma-related problems, potentially diving into their codebases for deeper assistance.
What does the candidate profile look like?
We believe the successful candidate will:
1- Be passionate about content creation, with a proven ability to write technical content, record videos, and communicate complex ideas clearly.
2- Have experience managing social media accounts for a technical brand or product.
3- Be skilled at working autonomously, managing projects from conception through delivery while adhering to timelines.
Have several years of experience building production-grade applications in the Node.js ecosystem.
4- Have experience owning projects end-to-end and can independently manage and deliver them, from concept to execution, while ensuring clear communication and adherence to timelines.
5- Be enthusiastic about building relationships with developers and engaging with technical communities.
Have strong knowledge of relational databases (knowledge of other databases is a plus).
6- Have experience in teaching and educating others, either formally or informally, with a natural ability to engage and explain technical concepts.
7- Be fluent in English (both written and spoken).
The following experience would also be a plus:
1- Experience with TypeScript.
2- Experience editing video and working with content creation tools.
3- Experience working with open-source software and communities.
4- On-stage speaking experience at conferences or events.

Remote Work
We are a remote-first organization with an office based in Berlin, Germany. Whether you would like to work remotely, or from the office in Berlin is up to you! We are open to discussing relocation assistance if you want to join us in Berlin.
That being said, for the sake of maintaining an effective working relationship, we are restricted to hiring employees from a timezone band ranging from UTC -5 to UTC +3 (Coordinated Universal Time).
