June 1, 2024 - The ServBay team is pleased to announce the release of the latest version 1.3.5. This update includes key software package upgrades, updates to the ServBay Runtime and ServBay Development Library, and introduces several new features and important optimizations aimed at providing users with a more efficient and convenient experience.
Key Updates and Optimizations
To enhance performance, in ServBay 1.3.5, the Opcache, XDebug, and MongoDB PHP modules are no longer loaded by default. Users can manually enable these modules by editing the respective configuration files in /Applications/ServBay/package/etc/php:
-
Opcache: Edit the
conf.d/opcache.ini
file and uncomment the relevant lines. -
XDebug: Edit the
conf.d/xdebug.ini
file and uncomment the relevant lines. -
MongoDB: Edit the
conf.d/mongodb.ini
file and uncomment the relevant lines.
This adjustment allows for more efficient use of system resources, enabling users to load the necessary modules based on their actual needs, thereby improving system performance.
