The Google Developer Group ( GDG )on campus program was officially launched at city engineering college on 21st of October 2024 .GDG On Campus is a university-based community group within the Google Developer Groups network, designed for students interested in technology. It provides a space for students to connect, learn, and collaborate on projects, bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world tech skills . This event not only symbolizes the launch of a new platform for creativity and collaboration but also sets the stage for future projects that will enhance our learning experience.
As a community for students passionate about Google developer technologies, GDG on Campus welcomes individuals from all undergraduate and graduate programs who are eager to grow as developers.

A keynote speech was provided by the guest speaker with insights into current trends and future opportunities in technology. Her words were truly engaging and inspiring. There were social media giveaways and special goodies from google given at end of the session.
The inaugural event was a resounding success, setting a positive tone for the activities planned for future.
